Mandarin Mustangs Freshman Year
I was excited to be going to Mandarin High School. I knew they had a 6A Football program and a newer coach who seemed inspired to lead the team. This seemed to fit into my plans for the future...to get noticed by a Division 1A College and have a scholarship opportunity. My brother was a graduate of Mandarin, and he had told me of some of the good teachers (some of which I had too). Although I chose to only play football this year, it was an exiting one for me.
Academic and Athletic Achievements
2009-10
- 3.75 GPA
- Only Freshman to train with Varsity during summer workouts
- Dressed and Played first Varsity game as a 14 year old Freshman for the Kickoff Classic against Bartram Trails
- Started all Jr. Varsity games
- Promoted to Varsity for last 3 games of the season
- Lettered as a Freshman
