TLAM Twin Lakes Academy Middle School Years
My middle school years were spent at Twin Lakes Academy Middle School. I had several favorite teachers who I will always remember. Mr. Burns, Ms. Sheikh, and my beloved, amazing, gym coach, Coach McKinney.
I remember the first week of football tryouts, I thought about quitting...but then...the first game came along. Quitting was no longer an option. The Timberwolves Football team quickly became my favorite and where my love of the game started. Coach Mitchell and Coach Cameron are the best! I also joined the track team and the basketball team (where I found out I sucked at basketball). It was still fun. The experience helped me to win Athlete of the Year my eighth grade year.
